Turn Practice into Understanding
You've built your foundation.
You've been practicing. But at some point, every dedicated dancer reaches the same place. Questions begin to appear. Am I practicing correctly?
Why does this movement feel different today?
How do I know if I'm progressing?
Learning alone can only take you so far. Sometimes what you need isn't another class. It's guidance. It's clarity. It's the confidence that comes from having someone you trust answer the questions that videos cannot.
That's why I created AWAKEN. Go beyond the classes and deepen your connection to Afro-Cuban tradition. You'll gain guidance, clarity, and direct access to Alfredo through monthly live sessions where your questions become understanding and your understanding becomes confidence.
AWAKEN is for you if...
✓ You've been practicing but still have unanswered questions.
✓ You want to understand, not just imitate.
✓ You want confidence that you're progressing in the right direction.
✓ You value learning directly from an experienced guide.
AWAKEN PLAN contains:
→ Everything included in ROOTED
→ Monthly AWAKEN Live sessions with Alfredo.
→ Profesores Invitados - Clases de baile (en español)
→ Digital copy of The Essence of Yoruba Dances in Cuba [ ENG, ESP, FR]

The ALIGNED Plan is designed for committed dancers who are ready to move beyond independent practice and begin refining their movement with the support of an experienced mentor.
Is ALIGNED for you?

Real Dancers. Real Results
"This Afro-Cuban Academy is THE place to learn, to be inspired, to find motivation to surpass yourself!
We learnt on course how to dance afro-cuban, but also tons of cultural knowledge, meaning of songs and steps, toques, singing...
it is an all-inclusive and complete education cursus any afro-cuban fan needs to have in his/her life!
Alfredo uses a very successful and pedagogical method suitable for all-level dancers.
It changed my dancer life! I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to go beyond what we all know or think we know..."
Chantal Steiner, Venezuela
"Attending the afrocuban academy gave me a much needed structured overview about afrocuban culture and dance. We started from the very beginning and step by step moved our way through every Orisha, discussing it's background, rhythms, moves and much more..
By creating this "base of knowledge" I could improve my dancing and become confident in my movement"
Elisabeth Seib, Germany
"On my afrocuban journey, I have always looked for a Learning program which goes beyond steps only.
Afrocuban Academy fits all my expectations and even went far beyond. It gives access to all the pillars which are: Mythology, Rhythms, Songs and Dances.
The experience is a total transformer which leads people to reach the essence of the dance, and therefore makes me become an art performer since I could express myself while respecting the culture."
